Juvederm® is a dermal filler designed to restore volume to your skin. We use it to correct nasolabial folds and other age-related imperfections. In Johnson City, Dr. Bharti can use Juvederm to give your face a more youthful appearance.
Juvederm is made of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring chemical found in the body’s connective tissue. As you age, this hyaluronic acid becomes depleted, leading to many of the signs of skin aging. By restoring hyaluronic acid, we can correct wrinkles and help you appear younger.

Your Juvederm Treatment With Dr. Bharti
During this 15- to 20-minute treatment, Dr. Bharti injects Juvederm beneath the skin. Because it is formulated with lidocaine, Juvederm injections are comfortable and do not require a topical numbing cream. After your injections, Dr. Bharti will briefly massage your face to make sure that the gel is evenly distributed.
You will see the results immediately. Juvederm treatment is long lasting, but not permanent. Eventually, your body will naturally absorb and clear away the product. Results of Juvederm typically last one year.
Some bruising and minor swelling can occur in the treated area. This improves rapidly, and you will see the true results of your treatment. To reduce any post-treatment swelling, we may recommend that you apply ice to the treated area. Avoid alcohol, strenuous exercise, and prolonged exposure to sunlight for 24 hours.
We offer a range of different injectable treatments, such as Restylane®, Sculptra®, Perlane® and Botox®. Discuss your options with Dr. Bharti to determine the best injectable for your situation.
Smoothing of more severe facial wrinkles may require a face lift or brow lift. These procedures tighten deep tissues to reduce the signs of aging.
Resurfacing your skin with rejuvenation procedures may improve superficial wrinkles. These options include laser resurfacing and mechanical exfoliation.
